The replacement 4WD front axle actuator & disconnect allows both of the front left and right wheels of your vehicle to rotate independently with each other which also restricts movement of the front prop-shaft while in 2WD mode. This helps maintaining the differential and prop-shaft seals to remain in good condition reducing the rolling resistance of the drive train which improves gas mileage.
