Shown as position 1 & 2, this actuator controls the air temperature from the driver's side air vents (#1 in the image) and passenger side (#2 in the image).
Please note that vehicles with single zone AC systems do not have a driver side actuator. On these vehicles actuator #2 is the only temperature actuator.

Shown as position 3, this actuator controls whether the air is recircuated inside the vehicle or outside air is drawn in.
